Project Details
Founded in 1985 by Pastor Ken and Louise Jasko, the Monmouth Worship Center has grown from a small group of worshipers gathering at Central Elementary School in Marlboro, to 20 years later, out growing their current 17,000sf facility. After realizing that the Monmouth Worship Center was out growing their current location the search was on for not only a new location, but also for a one stop source contractor to help achieve the visions set forth by the churches founders.

The new home of the Monmouth Worship Center epitomizes the concept of complete turn-key design/build construction. The parcel, to become the new home of the Worship Center was sold from our land portfolio. PJR had organized and became the owner’s liaison to all professional disciplines for planning board approval. PJR worked with the owner’s architect, Mark Schillaci, and provided all civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering for the complete design of the building. Understanding the realization of the churches budgeting constraints, PJR was able to offer delayed payments, provide interim financing, phased construction, and offered assistance to various church fundraising endeavors to help achieve their financial goals.

Some features of the new 40,000 sf Monmouth Worship Center include:

  • 800 seat sanctuary
  • 17 meeting / classrooms
  • 9 offices
  • large fellowship hall
  • multi-purpose room
  • expanded nursery with pre-K and prayer rooms
  • hospitality room
  • food bank

Through careful design and planning, the building was designed to allow expansion in the future as needed, with minimal impact on the daily activities of the church.
